Welcome to the Knowledge Platform!

The Knowledge Platform is an online platform that gathers research results and various other materials (training information, videos, reports, etc.). It is designed for farmers, advisors, researchers, and other stakeholders in the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System (AKIS), with the aim of improving access to information and knowledge in agriculture.

What does it offer?

The main novelty is the inclusion of research (previously limited to individual materials), which includes:

  • CRP projects,
  • completed EIP projects,
  • Horizon projects,
  • Interreg projects,
  • Strategic Research and Innovation Partnerships (SRIP),
  • Public Service for Professional Tasks in Agriculture,
  • projects from Climate Fund,
  • projects from Sectoral Interventions (bees, wine, etc.).

Predefined search categories and subcategories:

  • CROP PRODUCTION (arable farming, grassland and fodder production, horticulture, viticulture, fruit growing, etc.)
  • LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION (cattle farming, beekeeping, aquaculture, organic animal husbandry, genetic resources, etc.)
  • FORESTRY (wildlife management, forest protection, etc.)
  • ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE (climate change, soil fertility, agricultural land, water resources, etc.)
  • COMPETITIVENESS (productivity, added value, digitalization, marketing, food waste reduction)
  • RURAL DEVELOPMENT (LEADER/CLLD, supplementary activities, young farmers, small farms, non-agricultural activities)
  • CROSS-CUTTING TOPICS (AKIS, education, advisory services, scientific research activities).

How does it work?

By entering the keywords of your interest, you can search for materials (final reports, posters, presentations, videos, etc.) and research (e.g., descriptions of EIP projects, Target Research Projects – CRP) in the Knowledge Portal database. The search engine scans the entered or selected keywords/categories in the titles and descriptions of materials and research.

For advanced search options, select the arrow in the main search window.

You can choose to search only for materials or only for research. If you select “Materials,” you can use predefined categories to assist with entering keywords or categories/subcategories. You can select one or more predefined categories/subcategories. The search engine scans the entered or selected keywords/categories/subcategories in the titles and descriptions of materials.

If you select “Research,” the Knowledge Portal will display a table of research projects. The “Filters” function can assist you in making your selection.
