This publication tries, via participatory research and analysis of debates and practices, to clarify how the LEADER\/CLLD approach is contributing to rural development in Slovenia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The focus of this\u00a0publication\u00a0is to search for answers to the complex question: How does the LEADER\/CLLD approach contribute to rural development in Slovenia?<\/p>\n

Contributing authors sought to find answers by carrying out a critical analysis of existing theoretical debates, in-depth analysis of diverse data sources and systematic field research examining eleven Local Action Groups.<\/p>\n

The research activities actively involved different stakeholders and actors who could significantly impact the implementation of the LEADER\/CLLD approach and programme. The participatory research approach was based on critical and reflective consideration of the real contribution of the LEADER\/CLLD approach to lifelong learning in rural settings.<\/p>\n

The publication is in Slovenian, with a detailed summary of the findings in\u00a0English.<\/p>\n
